Robbers demand for end-of-year gifts

Residents of Onimaba, College Bus stop, Ikotun Road, Igando, have received letters purportedly written by armed robbers asking them to get ready their 'end of the year packages' for them when they come visiting soon, Punch reports.

Residents said they noticed the letters pasted on major streets in the area on Thursday morning as they woke up with the content reading " Be prepared, be prepared, be prepared. Our dues must be paid this festive season. Nobody can stop us as we can strike at any time. Only enough money can save your life.

“To be forewarned is to be fore-
harmed. We have warned you in this area, and if you have ears, you ought to hear.”

The residents said they have reported the case to the Igando Police Command to come to their rescue as the robbers promised to hurt anyone that fails to give them what they demand for.
